THIS is What Happens When We Fast
September 16, 2018
Wow, this fast was amazing. I fasted food for five days. Only had an egg and a piece of bread Wednesday morning and Thursday.
Friday, day five and very hungry but determined, I sat down at my computer to write a new chapter in a new book, Kingdom Keys. Gang, I wrote stuff that was so inspired that I’m kinda freaked out. It is revelation about Simon Peter and His moment when Jesus asks a life altering question. I can’t wait to share it with you. I was covered in holy chill bumps as I finished putting these thoughts on the screen. Mike walked in and I read an entire passage of scripture and then what the Holy Spirit prompted.
Mike stood in my office and listened. Of course, he wasn’t sure how to process what I shared but he listened to his wife SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD OVER HIM.
Wowza.. and Hallelujah!!!
I am so fired up by what happened, I’m fasting tomorrow through sundown Wednesday, Yom Kippur or Day of Atonement. Many Christian leaders have powerful encounters with Jesus on this night. I’m asking for mine.
I want to thank Ann Hutchison, from the bottom of my heart, for her heart-filled leadership. What is wild is that Sunday morning, the preacher at my church also used the story children trapped in the cave during the teaching.
Say what???
There is more in that message than we know and God is trying very hard to let someone know: Your Freedom Day has arrived.
Thank you Ann!!! I love you.
I will also remind everyone that as September closes out and our new assignments arrive in the weeks ahead, you can EXPECT push back almost immediately from the enemy. My history with God reflects this. November is when all hell would break loose in my life.
BUT, if we know that now, we can pray against it. We can ask God to move smoothly into our new season. We can tell the devil:
- STAND DOWN
- YOU CAN’T HAVE MY HUSBAND
- YOU CAN’T HAVE MY KIDS
- YOU CAN’T HAVE MY HEALTH
- YOU CAN’T HAVE MY BLESSINGS
In Jesus name. AMEN
This week I want you to pray for your husband/wife. Ask Jesus to overwhelm him/her with the reality of His love.
I adore you Nation of powerful Warriors. Have a fantastic week. Hugs, Lynn
But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. 5 God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. 6 And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” 7 Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. -Galatians 4: 5-7
