Beauty from Ashes
March 24, 2012
On Friday we shared about the upcoming broadcast on Focus on the Family. This is an amazing culmination of a dream birthed from depths of pain. Can you believe that? Lynn and I are continually in awe of how God does that.
Beauty from ashes...
We are gearing up for whatever God has in store for us next. Right now our hearts are focused on those who will be coming in search of hope and prayer. This community right here, right where you are sitting right now, has proven to be one of love and prayer and encouragment! You all are so amazing!
Now we have a chance to welcome more men and women into our midst who are looking for answers and help for their mismatched marriage. This is why we are here!
To pray for you, to encourage you, to help you too discover what we have. God has a plan for your marriage, to bless you and to help you thrive right where you are.
Join us on Monday and Tuesday for the Focus on the Family broadcast (listen online or find a station near you). Come take part in the Focus forums on Tuesday as Lynn and I converse with others in mismatched marriages with the goal to encourage and help them keep fighting for their marriage.
Whether you are New Here or a regular visitor, we want to hear from you, encourage you, and pray for you.
Please take advantage of our FREE resources on our WinningHimWithoutWords.com site as well.
Be sure to check out our small groups page to find out if a group is meeting near you. And we have poured all that God has taught us into our book, Winning Him Without Words: 10 Keys to Thriving in Your Mismatched Marriage.
We are stronger together! Join us and see what God can do!
Praying and believing,
Dineen & Lynn
Isaiah 61:1-3
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
