Sunday Smiles
The Big Day

I am thrilled by this topic of mentorship that Christine has chosen today. There have been so many mentors in my life over the years. I have actually been preparing a post about this very subject and plan to share it at the Internet Café’ at Christian Women Online on Friday. Hope you tune in there.

The interesting thing about Christine’s topic is the fact that I could find no one who was unequally yoked to mentor me as a young woman. Spiritually mismatched couples have very distinct and unique struggles that are unlike a typical Christian couple.

As God slowly taught me the tough lessons of living and thriving in an unequally yoked marriage, He also showed me how to share my experiences with other’s on the road behind me. Thus, this blog was born.

The neat thing is all of us who visit here actually help each other. I have found so many wise and wonderful people who encourage and support and I hope I do the same.

Love you, Lynn

PS. Sorry for the short post. I am sicker than a dog and heading for the couch. *smile*

For more Marriage Monday stop in at Fruit In Season. Thank you Christine for hosting today's topic!

Lynn has wonderfully mapped out the steps we all need to walk through to develop and grow this vital relationship with Him. This was the Lord’s intent for her transformation journey all along, and His intent for you too. Here she has spelled out the spiritual truths behind the principles and talked us through how she applied them. These truths are universally applicable to us all, though as the details of our lives, situations and hearts will be different, we will apply them differently. - Reader Review from Barnes & Noble.
