The Ultimate Odd Couple

He does the laundry.....
.....I mow the lawn

He loves the beach.....
.....I crave the mountains

He wants room service.....
.....Give me camping

Tall            Short
Shy            Not
Brainiac      Blonde
Spicy          Mild
In love          In love

When I turned my life over to Jesus, he promised me a life journey filled with adventure, growth, triumph, a few defeats and love.

He gave me my husband.

And….the journey has never been boring!!! With so many oddities in our house we cannot help but laugh with each other, grow together, rise to the challenges as a team and fall more deeply in love. Never boring and I am having a ball!

I am celebrating my husband and thanking the Lord for the many ways this man amazes me. Be blessed and happy Thursday, Lynn

Sweet, beautiful blessings to you, and your husband. I love you.

Your love for your husband is such an example! Opposites attract, right? I share a lot in common with my sweetheart, but we have our differences too. If he were just like me, ewww! :)

Yeah! Things that I have attempted have gone all wrong these last couple of days and my hubby, bless his heart, has been supportive and helping me see the humor in them. Glad you have a gem as well.

I love that TT post; It reminded me SO much of how me and my husband are so different but so alike.

What a beautiful thankful post! Wonderful husbands are such a special blessing!

Oh, this is so neat. Isn't the Lord wonderful? He gives us JUST WHAT WE NEED!

Blessings to you and your hubby♥

Lynn, that's a wonderful post, my dh and I are also opposites and it seems our spouses have the same first names too :-)

Tall & short, yes. Roles reversed in cooking, yes. Dark & light, yes. Sealover & not, yes. That is us. Thanks for visiting my blog.

That was totally NEAT! I loved it! You are perfect together...God ordained and blessed...and He is working. (I still have your picture posted in my hall---a wonderful reminder to pray--with all my other Christmas card pictures---took the card down though!)
Missed getting to gab with you this week!
Have a blessed Thursday...I will be heading out for vacation Friday afternoon....a whole entire week of NO INTERNET!!!!!!

Such a lovely post! Thank God for blessing you with a dear husband and the blessed life you have together. God is good. Have a blessed day!

Oh its lovely. God has certainly been good to you. Thank you for sharing, I think I'll go back now and list the differences between my intended and I (sometimes I can't seem to remember).

That's cool! I enjoyed reading your thankful thursday post. :) It's amazing how God brings two different people together. Love! :) It's amazing!

how beautiful. love expressed in Jesus' way.

What a wonderful celebration of the love that God has given you!

Have a blessed day, Lynn!

Great post, Lynn!! I too am thankful for the precious gift God gave me in my KISA!!
Have a great day!

Hi Lynn. Reading your post gave me the lightest feeling...I guess it's called happiness. I celebrate love with you - even after reading your post.

God bless.

Amen to that, girl. Isn't it fun to have a ball this side of heaven? Knowing that the Lord has blessed us with so many things? It would be boring if were to be married to a person that is so much like us :)

Thank you so much for hsaring your grateful heart with us this week.

Blessings to you and your fun family.

Happy thankful Thursday! It is good to look for the positives in our spouses.

I'm right there with you, Lynn! My hubby keeps me young. LOL! Life is never dull with him. :-)

This is a beautiful TT post!

When I saw your list I just had to laugh...Only I love the beach and he loves the mountains... I am short, he is tall. Once I told my MIL - He eats crunchy peanut butter, I eat smooth and she said, "well, at least it's peanut butter"!

Hugs to you!

Beautiful and fun list. :) My hubby and I have our share of differences, too. Thank goodness, or things might quite boring, right? :)

God Bless.

It was fun to read your list of differences. I hear camping! We both enjoy it, although in our latter years, we both like room service too. :~D

Somewhere I read that it's the similaries that *draw* us together but the differences *keep* us together. I do think the differences are what create the passion... which you seem to have plenty of!

(((Hugs)))

This was a very sweet TT. Thank you for sharing! It's a blessing to see how opposites are placed together by God! HUGS!
