She Speaks

Speaking, Writing and Leadership Conference! (With special sessions for Bloggers!) Lysa TerKeurst from Proverbs 31 Ministries has asked Shannon, Melanie and Boo Mama to lead a couple of sessions on blogging at this summer’s She Speaks Conference in Concord, North Carolina. The conference is scheduled for June 20-22, 2008 ! Lysa is also giving someone the opportunity to earn a scholarship to attend the conference.

This conference opportunity would allow the Lord to continue to work in the ministry to unequally yoked spouses. Many of you arrive here through an online search desperately seeking encouragement as well as practical help to survive the unique issues of a Spiritual Mismatch. There is little in the way of written resources available to help the thousands of us who are struggling. The modern church, however unintentional, fails to see the vast needs the spiritually mismatch.

I am convinced through this training the Lord would expand the awareness of this unique and large population of the church. The Lord is waiting to help those of us who found ourselves living with a nonbeliever. He will use this ministry to show love to spouses and families, change hearts, and bring many to the cross and gift spouses and children with eternal life.

The training in speaking and writing would open up such opportunity to serve many people. Thank you.

I hope you win my sweet friend this scholarship. I wish I had the 'guts' to go this conference or even trying to win the scholarship.
