We serve a God of hope.

As we closeout 2007 and mark the passing into a new year, my soul fills with excitement. I start to wonder about the plans the Lord has made ready for me. I overflow with hope thinking about lives that will be forever changed through our Lord Jesus. I have hope that His name will be honored in the year ahead.

I have hope that 2008 could be the year of my husband’s salvation. I have hope God will keep watch over my children. I have hope in spite of all the evil in this world I will see the good. I have hope that the Lord will move mightily in many marriages in 2008. I BELIEVE He will!

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Thank you Lord Jesus, giver of hope and peace. Reveal to us just how powerful hope and faith really are. Let our hope bring glory to your name, We pray in your holy name, Jesus, Amen.
