Thankful Thursday

Hebrews 4:16 (New International Version)
16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Exactly one week ago today, God set my feet on a path to reveal an area of disobedience in my life. I have experienced a holy smack down. It was needed and long over-due. I am humbled and ever so aware of God’s unfailing love and limitless grace.

Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that will pardon and cleanse within; Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that is greater than all our sin.

9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

Praising our Lord with a fresh anointing of grace today. Be blessed, Lynn

This week Crystal at God is in Control, is hosting Thankful Thursday! Thank you Crystal!

Amen, what would we do without Grace.
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings

I'm thankful for grace and mercy, as well as that God loves us enough to not leave us where we are--that he does discipline us so we'll grow to be more like him.

Bless you sweet one.

Dear lynn,I am back here again.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

This morning when I prayed, I also used these words to encourage myself. It gave me peace and comfort.

I received something similar, too ... and I was glad I did! Though at the start, it was kind of hard to take ... but God knows much more than I do! :)
Blessings ...

Maybe we all needed a smack-down once in a while. I've been there and I know it's unexpected at times-it could hurt but there's always a purpose. Thanks for sharing.

I know just where you are at. HUGS

Hey Lynn,

Thanks for being so real and so honest. I sure have had my share of "holy smack downs" too.

Thank God for his loving mercy, and His amazing GRACE...

Blessings to you this TT,

Susan

AMEN!!!
Wow Lynn!! Thanks for being so real and transparent. God's grace is truly ENOUGH!! Keep growing in it, my Sister!!
Love and Prayers,
Susanne

Thanks for your honesty. Humbling to see sin revealed but his grace is such sweet relief.

Seems you and I are on the same path of Grace...

The Holy Smack Down.. I love it...

I would love to sit down with you over coffee and spill it...not the coffee...

I love you

Bless you, Lynn!

Thank you for your honesty and sharing. Thank you God for grace.

Holy Smack down....you said it!!! and I believe it....been in that myself! Loved your thankful heart!
Be blessed !!

A "Holy Smackdown!" How I hate those! You'd think for as long as I've lived...I wouldn't need the frequency of these lessons. Good for you for recognizing and responding!

Blessings!

Diane
