Thankful Thursday - A Thankful Heart Builds Strength

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

I am convinced this weekly ministry of thanks ROCKS the heavenly realms. God our Father is honored each week when His children pause to worship Him through thanksgiving.

It has been a profound privilege to visit each of you week after week to read your honest and heartfelt thanks. Many of you find yourselves dealing with what appears to be insurmountable odds, yet your faith shines through in your thankfulness. Many are in a peaceful place in your walk, yet you have found it even more important to praise God while you rest there.

I am deeply grateful all of us share this journey of praise.

Thank you Iris, at Sting My Heart, for allowing me to host Thankful Thursday during your vacation. We miss you and will see you next week for another Thankful Thursday.

There are so many odds we face. My daughter finally, officially broke off her relationship and flew down to Laguna Beach to spend the weekend with me and my family. I was so thankful I could be with her during this time.

My MIL found out she has colon cancer...Please be praying.
